Saturday lunch in: Easy classic sandwich

Grilled sandwich- honey ham, cheddar, tomato slices, argula, sweated onions on multigrain bread

On the days when you feel like you had too much greasy outside food, all you crave for is something healthy, something hearty, something homemade by you.

On such days, I turn to my comfort food- a simple yet classic sandwich.
I have everything I need and want in a sandwich- comforting carbs, healthy greens, favourful meal.

This time, J and I put together a grilled sandwich of argula, tomatoes, honey baked ham, cheddar cheese, capers and sweet sweated onions on wholegrain bread. Lunch was ready in 1/2 hour.

How perfect!
O food that comforts thy soul.
